Finally, long overdue...

I am pleased to announce that I've got a fully up-to-date website! The old one, originally put up by a friendly acquaintance, was six years out of date, due to lack of funds, web-design knowledge and energy. Aly Helyer, an artist I met during our show at Core Gallery told me about a very simple and affordable package where you can customise templates and don't have to write code or anything. I finally took courage and tried MrSite out and here it is: www.marionmichell.com. Simple, clean, to the point. That's all I need. A small step for humankind, a big step for yours truly.

hi Marjojo! that is so wonderful you got your website updated. so nice and cohesive to see all the works together like that. i think you should make the website name & image on this post an active link so we can just click right to it, and maybe also on the sidebar of your blog. unless i missed it somewhere, it seems like the only way we can get to it is if we go through your blog profile. too much great stuff to miss!

i'm really inspired to get my own website up soon too!

Hey Mien, thanks for the tip. I could have sworn I established a direct link to my website, but no. No idea how to make the image clickable, did try but all it does is enlarge the pic. There's a link at the end of my profile however. So much more to do, and I only understand the tiniest bits of some of the stuff that goes beyond the uploading of texts and images, alas. An e-mail to you has lived and grown in my head for a while - hope to get around to it soon.

Hello Marion
Well done on getting your new website up and running. I have two websites and one of them www.allsensesart.com is a Mr Site website ( I set it up back in 2007). It can be very slow and clunky to use but you definitely get a lot for your money.
and well done on you new work and exhibitions too.
